At some point in your life, you will face the question “Who are you?”. The question may be asked by an employer, a professor, or maybe even yourself. Defining yourself is a difficult process, you will try to decode your core values and your personality. You begin to question yourself on what your passions are , what motivates you, and what skills you have. This is a great way to establish what makes you, you. It’s a significant question, a question that challenges you and thats why it’s not easy to answer.
Your identity is an ongoing process, you are steadily evolving. Meaning each day that goes by , should be a positive change of growth from the next. The goal is to show improvement compared to your past self.
Spend some time reflecting on this year, bare your soul out to yourself and be brutally honest about your expectations in life and the life you’re hoping to create for yourself in the days ahead. Invest more time and energy into taking actions, to grow mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Take more risk and be prepared to make more mistakes. Move out of your comfort zone. Remain focused on becoming a better version of who you are today.
The question you beat yourself up about isn’t really “Who are you?”.
It’s who are you becoming?
Dedicated to everyone striving to become the best they can be.
