Prepare to be transported to a world where the beloved flavors of pumpkin pie meet the elegance of a well-crafted cocktail. This Pumpkin Martini is a creamy, sweet, and impeccably spiced concoction that encapsulates the essence of fall in every velvety sip.
Ingredients:
Optional Frozen Whipped Cream:
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream*
- 2 tablespoons of confectioners’ sugar
For the Pumpkin Martini:
- 2-3 teaspoons of cinnamon-sugar (for the rim)
- 1/4 cup of vanilla vodka (such as Absolut brand)
- 1/4 cup of clear Creme de Cacao liqueur
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1-1/2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice (plus more for a sprinkle on top)
Instructions:
For the Pumpkin Martini:
- Start by adding a touch of water or Creme de Cacao to the edges of your martini glasses. Gently shake off any excess liquid, then dip the moistened edges into a mixture of cinnamon-sugar. The result? A delightful, spiced rim that adds a touch of joy to each sip.
- Chill your prepared martini glasses in the freezer or fridge for at least thirty minutes before it’s time to serve, ensuring they’re frosty and ready to welcome your luscious libation.
- If you’re planning to indulge in the optional frozen whipped cream, it’s time to whip up this delightful garnish. You can prepare the frozen whipped cream up to two days in advance, allowing it to patiently await its moment in the freezer. To create it, simply combine heavy cream and confectioners’ sugar in a bowl, then whip until stiff peaks form. Transfer the whipped cream into a pastry bag equipped with a large tip, piping it into round towers on a parchment-lined tray (you’ll make four in total). Pop them in the freezer immediately, giving them at least 30 minutes to chill.
- Now, for the the cocktail itself. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice, then add the vanilla vodka, clear Creme de Cacao, heavy cream, and a touch of pumpkin pie spice. Shake vigorously, at least fifty times, until your concoction is well-blended and delightfully chilled.
- Strain your delectable mixture into the chilled martini glasses, creating a base for the frozen whipped cream towers to rest upon. Lightly sprinkle each martini with a touch more of pumpkin pie spice,.
VoilĂ ! You’ve just crafted a chilled Pumpkin Pie Martini. Enjoy the coziness of fall!
